01/10/2011 Confirmed Fireworks will displayed across from reception room at the Crescent courtesy of the city of Dallas.
01/08/2011 Parents of the Bride, Bride, Maid of Honor, Groom, Usher and Matron of honor booked rooms at the hotel; Checking in Saturday July 2nd checking out Wednesday July 6th.
01/03/2011 Spoke with Zanatia from the Spa at Crescent Hotel. There will be a small lunch as well as 10 percent discounted spa treatments for all wedding attendees on July 3, 2011 from 11am-2pm. The bridal wedding party will be in attendance but is open to all guests of the wedding. If interested call (214)817-3200 to make reservations. The spa also has hot tub, sauna, quiet rooms and steamers for those who want to attend without purchasing treatments.

11/08/2010 Maid of Honor and Sister of the Bride had initial fitting and picked up dress for the ceremony.
11/05/2010 Bride and Bride’s mother attended Initial consultation with Bella Floral.
11/05/2010 Parents of the Bride toured the venue for the first time escorted by Julian, Rosewood Crescent’s wedding coordinator. Also ate dinner with bride and another couple in the wedding party at the Crescent Club where the reception will be held.

09/05/10- Kim and Ryan went shopping for wedding bands, they brough Zani along to supervise.
09/03/10- Kim chose the flower arrangements that will be displayed at the wedding.
08/29/10- Kim met with her Grammie, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Rick, and Cousin Cody. She asked Cody to stand up in the wedding for her as one of Ryan's groomsmen. He said "Yes". She also told her Grammie about the wedding plans.

Kim and her mother choosing out wedding announcements
08/28/10- Kim went to Weddings & More with her mother and sister. Kimberly purchased her guestbook, cake charms, and her wedding announcements. She chose magnet wedding anouncements- how cool is that?! Kim also looked at wedding favors but has still not chosen an item.
08/27/10- Kim, her mother Morene, and her sister Megan went to David's Bridal to choose the bridal party colors. The color is Fern, Kim wants all of her bridesmaids to have knee length dresses with a satin fabric. Men can rent their vests from Men's Wearhouse- make sure the color is Fern! (You can click on the pink underlined words- it will take you to the site with the available clothing in the Fern color.)

08/26/10- Kim went to "I Do" Too! Bridal with her mother, Morene and her sister, Megan to try on wedding dresses! She bought her dress! The dress is completely confidential -but it is a Maggie Sottero.
08/25/10- Kim flew home to Michigan for wedding planning!
08/21/10- Ryan asked Josh Boyd to be his on of his groomsmen, and asked Jared Hurd to be his Best Man. The both said "yes".
08/12/10- Morene, Kim's mother made the offical down payment on the wedding! Kim collected together all of the addresses for the wedding invites.
08/10/10- Kim called Julian, the wedding planner, and gave him the answers that she discussed with her parents.
08/09/10- Kim talked about the wedding plans with her parents and asked questions. Kim and Ryan went to a Cuban wine tasting!
08/06/10- Julian, the wedding planner, sent the offical contract and estimate to Kim and her parents.
08/04/10- Kim called about DJ and live music information to get some quotes.
08/01/10- Ryan asked his little brother, Will to be a groomsman.
07/30/10- Ryan asked his uncle Russ to be a groomsman.
07/29/10- Kim called Julian to get more information about the plans and said that she wanted to move forward to make the Crescent her wedding location. (If you click on the Pink Underline Words it will take you to the location's website!)

07/25/10- Kim called her mother, Morene, and told her about the Crescent and she liked it too!
07/24/10- Kim had an appointment with Roxanna at the Joule Hotel including Charllie Palmer as the chef! The hotel was better for the reception, not the ceremony- so that place was out. Missy met Kim afterwards and went to the Crescent Hotel where they meet Julian, Kim's new wedding planner. They then went to hotel Za-Za and the W Hotel, Kim liked the hotels but the ceremony rooms were more like businesses than weddings. Missy and Kim both agreed that the Crescent was the best.
07/22/10-Kim and Angela made a list of possible places to hold the wedding.
07/21/10- Kim meet with Ryan's Aunt Missy and her friend Cyndi with Angela to discuss wedding plans.
07/20/10- Kim and Angela went and spoke with Wade, the owner of Nine Steakhouse, the restarant inside the W Hotel. But they are going under construction next summer so that catering option was out. So they went to a couple other places. They went to Marie-Gabrella, a catering service, but they are only open for breakfast and lunch and are in an inconvientant area. They then went to the Stoneleigh, an old-fashioned hotel, but they didn't have the room to support the wedding. It got pretty frusterating. Finally, they called the Crescent where someone was super helpful and showed them the venue with a glass of wine.
07/16/10- Kim went to Austin to visit Tim. Kim and Ryan decided that one single wedding would be best. Kim asked Claire to be a bridesmaid. Kim asked Tim to be the Man-of-Honor to stand on Ryan's side.
07/15/10- Kim asked Lyndie Powell to be a bridesmaid.
07/11/10- Kim asked Ryan's Aunt, Missy, to be a bridesmaid/Matron-of-Honor.
07/10/10- Kim and Ryan discussed whether or not to have a double wedding. Kim asked Ryan's little half-sister, Courtnee to be a maid of honor.
07/08/10- Kim made calls to family and friends to announce the engagement.
07/06/10- Kim asked her sister Megan to be the Maid-of Honor. Kim asked Angela to be the Secondary Maid-of-Honor.
07/04/2010- Kim and Ryan are Engaged!
